THE FULL SERVICE
What To Expect
In order to have a project run smoothly, here is an overview of what to expect from the process:
STEP 1: Consultation
After submitting a project inquiry, a phone consultation will be set up via email to determine the scope of your project and any other concerns or questions you may have. After we agree to work together, I'll meet with you in your home to assess your current interior or blueprints of your remodel or new build. I will ask you several questions about the vision, function, colors, and materials that would be appropriate for your space, and discuss any changes you've been considering so we can create a space that meets your lifestyle. A proposal will be given and agreed upon at or after this meeting.
STEP 2: Design Concept Service
With the contract signed, I will organize a Trade Day at the project site. All the trades that we will need to accomplish the project will come for 30 minute appointments and discuss the project and take their own measurements so that we are able to obtain quotes for work that needs to be done. This will give us a more accurate project budget before I spend so much time developing a concept. I will also take measurements and photos of the project at this time.
Next, I begin the process of evaluating the information obtained from the consultation and Trade Day and create a preliminary concept that I then present to you. From this jumping off point, we will collaborate until we have the right direction for you. I then take that concept and develop it into a full concept with specifications for lighting, walls, flooring, window treatments, finishing materials, furniture selections, and accessories. I then present this design to you in your home and go over every little detail of the design, at which time you can voice any concerns or questions. The final design is reached after any tweaks are made and/or it is approved by you.
STEP 3: Purchasing Services & General Project Management
Upon approval, I will now start the process of ordering and tracking the multitudes of products for your home. A schedule of work will be drawn up and provided for all work to be done by contractors on your space. You will be responsible for obtaining any needed permits and hiring the contractors needed to finish the work. I will be available to your contractors for any questions they may have and to check in on the project site as needed. Once the space is ready and all items have arrived at the receiving warehouse, I oversee the white glove installation of all your furniture and purchases and style them for a completed design. You are then left to enjoy your new space!
